During this maintenance window we’ll be switching the SRS front-end from the Wellington (Avalon) site to our Auckland (Albany) site.
The front-end change is transparent and should have no impact on registrar systems, however if your application caches DNS records without handling TTLs or your recursive DNS servers are mangling TTL values and enforcing a longer TTL then you may encounter issues.
For the duration of the change you may experience a “TEMPORARY_SERVER_ERROR” ErrorId=“SYSTEM_MAINTENANCE” error message as the server will be in maintenance mode.
